Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin Receives Special Envoy of United Nations Secretary-General to Myanmar

U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Ms. Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Myanmar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 17 August 2022. During the meeting, the Union Minister stressed that it is necessary for the United Nations to constructively and pragmatically review its approach in its cooperation with Myanmar. He also explained the information on current developments in Myanmar. The deputy minister and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting, it is reported.
