At the invitation of Vietnam Minister for Home Affairs H.E Pham Thi Thanh Tra, a Myanmar delegation led by U Than Swe, Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board-UCSB attended the meeting for the Heads of Civil Service for the 21st ACCSM and the Sixth Heads of Meeting for the 21st ACCSM Plus Three held in Hanoi of Viet Nam from 3 to 5 August, 2022. During the meeting, heads of Civil Service -
- Discussed civil service affairs particularly and confirmed upon the implementations of individual countries under the ACCSM Work Plan (2021-2025) and ACCSM Plus Three Work Plan (2021-2025),
- Enhanced the cooperation and collaboration with plus-there countries China, Japan and Korea.
- Exchanged views on the follow-up activities and cooperation with the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC).
After the meetings, the representatives from ASEAN member States visited Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, attended the honorary dinner, exchanged gifts. Moreover, heads of Civil Service of ASEAN and Plus Three countries called on Deputy Prime Minister Mr Pham Binh Minh of the Vietnamese Government. Myanmar delegation led by U Than Swe, Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board-UCSB reportedly arrived at Yangon via airway on 7 August 2022.
