A Terrorist Launches Violent Attack on a Security Personnel Performing Security Tasks for Basic Education Sub-High School (Hmawzar) in Hmawzar Ywarma Village, Pyay Township

Terrorist groups give order younger youths to do terrorist acts after intimidating and persuading to youths who are unable to distinguish between right and wrong. Due to their orders, Aung Myint Myat of 14, who lives in Hmawzar Ywarma village, stabbed a security force member in the back with a dagger while security personnel are undertaking security tasks for the students attending the Basic Education Sub-High School (Hmawzar) in Hmawzar Ywarma Village of Pyay township of Bago region.The dagger has three-inch-lone handle, eight-inch-long edge, and one and a half- inch-width. The security force member got injured with three-inches-depth stab wounds. The rest of security personnel attempted to arrest Aung Myint Myat but the latter resisted arrest and fled. Therefore, security personnel fired warning shots and Aung Myint Myat was arrested with injuries at the location 100-meters away from the school.

The injured security personnel and the terrorist were transported to the military hospital for medical treatment and the terrorist was under interrogation. In order not to happen such event, guardians, parents and teachers need to prevent their children and pupils from going down the wrong path. It is reported that security force members are carrying out necessary security services to ensure peaceful learning of students with joy.
