As the conscientious people informed security force members that the PDF terrorists were assembling at Lat Pan Kyin village and holding a meeting to carry out acts of terrorism in Myinmu township, the security force members went to there for further investigations. During the inspection, as the PDF terrorists in the village sneakily attacked the security force members, they fired back at those PDFs. After the shotouts, five dead bodies of PDFs, four homemade guns, four homemade grenades, some ammunition and two unlicensed vehicles were seized at the scene.
Continuously, the security force members made inspection around the village, and found a base camp where the PDFs stayed. Inside the base camp, 12 homemade guns, four homemade mortars, 1,400 rounds of various kinds of ammunition, seven grenades, two 40 mm grenades, ammunition and related materials, a drone, eight walkie-talkies, four unlicensed vehicles, 30 unlicensed motorcycles, nine tents, foodstuffs and other medications were seized.
Moreover, 40 males and 73 females in the village were temporarily detained for further investigations. If those persons who did not involve in the aforementioned case, they will be released at soonest, on the other hand, the PDFs and those persons concerned will be taken legal action under the law.
