Myanmar Exports more than 180,000 Tonnes of Rice and Broken Rice to Foreign Markets in July

In July, 43 companies in Myanmar exported 182,550 tonnes of rice and broken rice in total; 123,613 tonnes of rice and 58,937 tonnes of broken rice   to 21 foreign countries. 147,120 tonnes of rice and broken rice were exported to abroad via sea route and another 35,430 rice and broken rice were exported via border trade posts.

As Myanmar Rice Federation intends export of high-quality rice up to two-fold in three years and therefore, it is making efforts to export four million tonnes of rice to foreign markets yearly starting from 2025, it is reported.
