On 15 July, three men, including U Myo Nyunt, and a women living in Lat Taung Gyi village of Pale township left Mandalay by a vehicle driven by U Kyaw Moe (45), a resident of the same village along the Monywa-Mandalay road. When the vehicle arrived at a location between the milestone 57-mile-7-furlong and 58-mile on Monywa-Mandalay highway near Gwe Pintaw village of Myinmu township, about 20 PDF terrorists attacked the vehicles with three homemade mines and fired the vehicle using small arms. In the incident, one male and one female were killed while two other males got severely injured from the IED explosions.
With an aim to create public panic, PDF terrorist groups are not only arresting and brutally killing the innocent civilians of non-combatant targets, but also committing the inhumane terrorist acts of terrorism such as launching remote-mine attacks and motiveless shootings to the passenger vehicles that leads to civilian casualties. Therefore, the entire people totally condemn the acts of terrorism.
It is reported that the security forces are conducting necessary measures with the local people to identify and arrest the PDF terrorists who committed the afore-mentioned incident.
