Two Gunmen Rob 135 Million Kyats from KBZ Branch 42 (Industrial Park Branch) at Gunpoint in Pyigyitagon Township

It is reported that two gunmen robbed 135 million kyats from the KBZ Branch 42 (Industrial Park Branch) at gunpoint in Pyigyitagon township of Mandalay region.  

According to the report, two male arrived at the KBZ Branch 42 (Industrial Park Branch) located on the 78th Street and between 133th and 134th Streets in ward (I) of  Pyigyitagon township by two motorbikes on 15 July. They then entered the bank and robbed 135 million kyats put in the counter at gunpoint. After that, they hit a computer monitor by using an axe with the fiberglass handle of two foot in length. They left the bank by their motorbikes after they put an IED made with PV pipe on the glass counter.

It is observed that the NUG’s affiliates, PDF terrorists, extort money from peaceable civilians and commit more robbery more as terrorists do not receive cash assistance and allocation from the NUG group which misappropriates the so-called revolution fund.  

Security force members are pursuing necessary investigations to identify and arrest those two gunmen who robbed the KBZ bank, it is reported.
