The delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Lwin Oo, Military Attaché Brig-Gen Moe Kyaw and officials, visited Kazan Aircraft Production Association and HIMGRAD Industrial Complex in Kazan of the Republic of the Tatarstan on 13 July.
The Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister and party were conducted round the production belt by Managing Director of PJSC “Kazan Helicopters” Plant Mr. Vladimir Ginsburg and officials. The Prime Minister visited the helicopter test driving chamber with the use of a simulator and drove it.
The PJSC “Kazan Helicopters” Plant was established in 1940. Up to now, it has manufactured more than 12,000 Mi-4, Mi-8, Mi-14, Mi-17 and Ansat helicopters and exported them to more than 100 countries. The PJSC “Kazan Helicopters” Plant has so far secured more than 27 certificates of honour and medals from 1945 to 2020.
Later, the Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister and delegates arrived at the HIMGRAD Industrial Complex, and the Prime Minister heard reports on raw materials produced by businesses from the HIMGRAD Industrial Complex, household utensils, medicines, oil and natural gas, electronic equipment, fertilizers, pharmaceutical materials, and personal goods presented by officials. After hearing the reports, the Prime Minister asked what he wanted to know and discussed the situation for trading with Myanmar.
Afterwards, the Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister and party viewed the UAV manufacturing workshop for agricultural tasks, military transport and battlefield bullet-proof vehicles and engines, and production of fertilizers for agricultural purpose at Organic Plant. In the evening, the Prime Minister and party left Kazan Airport of Kazan of the Republic of the Tatarstan for St. Petersburg by air. They were seen off at the airport by officials of the Republic of the Tatarstan. At Pulkovo International Airport of St. Petersburg, the Prime Minister and party were warmly welcomed by officials of the government office of St. Petersburg.
