People’s Republic of China Donates over Six Million Yuan Worth of Materials for COVID-19 Containment Measures in Myanmar

The handover ceremony of over 6 million yuan worth of materials for effective response to COVID-19 donated by the People’s Republic of China to Kachin state government was held at Teng Chong City in Bao Shan Prefecture, Yunnan Province on 5 July.

During the ceremony, Vice Governor of Baoshan Prefecture Mr. Cheng Dejun handed over the donated materials to U Thaw Tar Aung, Consul-General of Myanmar in Kunming and the Consul-General of Myanmar expressed words of appreciation for the donation. The donated materials will be transported to Kachin state by vehicles via border gates, it is reported.
