With nefarious intentions to create uneducated classes in society following loss of children’s rights to education as well as to strike terror into students; teachers and parents, NUG terrorist group and its affiliated terrorists of political extremists are writing threat of texts and hanging up threatening letters at schools and mounting bomb attacks on school building. Their doings are as follows:
- On 27 June as terrorists carried out an improvised sound bomb attack at the spot near the brick fence at the frontage of the Basic Education High School in Mya Taung village of Htee Gyaing township, Sagaing region. The school has 196 students.
- On 27 June, terrorists wrote threat of texts at the Basic Education High School in Htan Thone Bin village of Myan Aung township, Ayeyawady region. Acting on information received, security force members inspected the scene and spotted threat of texts written with piece of brick on the concrete walkway in front of the school staff room in the school area and they removed those texts.
- On 28 June, a white plastic bag, in which a threatening letter and a bullet were put, was found at the spot near the fence of Daw Myint Myint Sein of 53, a school headmistress of Nyin Htwe Basci Education High School in Nyin Htwe village of Yebyu township in Taninthayi region. Acting on information received, security force members inspected the scene and seized those.
Security force members taking necessary measures continuously to identify and arrest the terrorists, also political extremists, who made threats of violence against students, teachers and parents in order to make them frightened and not to open schools.
- PDF terrorists exploded an improvised sound bomb at the spot near the brick fence at the frontage of the Basic Education High School in Mya Taung village of Htee Gyaing township, and sent threatening letters respectively to the Basic Education Schools in Htan Thone Bin village of Myan Aung township and Nyin Htwe village of Yebyu township.
