As the government is taking necessary measures to prevent terrorist bombings and killings of innocent civilians in Yangon Region, seven terrorist members of so-called Burma Final Revolution Armed Force (BFRAF) including Ye` Naung Tun (aka) Demon were arrested from 8 April to 26 June according to the tip-off by conscientious civilians who do not want destructive acts.
According to the confessions of the arrested offenders, when 11 terrorist members of the so-called BFRAF Shu Maung Maung Aung and Thin Yanant Hlaing (living together with him), Htet Lin Naing and Aye Thiri Moe (living together), Wai Yan Phyo and Zun Pwint Khin Oo(living together), Kyaw Zin Thein and Phyu Phyu Thwe (living together), Kaung Set Thu and Khin Thandar Lwin (living together) and Wai Yan Moe Oo (aka) Jimmy were drinking at a party at the apartment in Shwepyitha Township in the evening of 26 June, they were arrested along with related explosive devices.
In the incident, a total of 18 offenders including 13 males and 5 females were arrested together with one Sigsauer Pistol and one magazine of it, 50 rounds of .380 bullet, 75 homemade mines, two walkie talkies, three 5-gallon acid buckets, two 2-gallon acid buckets, one keypad phone and other related explosive devices.
The movements of the arrested offenders are as follows:
· Ye` Naung Tun (aka) Demon and Ye` Min Hein (aka) Ye` Phyo Aung (aka) Ye` Gyi had attended terrorist explosive training for seven days at the first week of June 2021 organized at Laiza, the KIA headquarters. Then, Ye` Naung Tun (aka) Demon, Ye` Min Hein (aka) Ye` Phyo Aung (aka) Ye` Gyi, and Yan Naing Htoo (aka) Nagarlay formed the so-called BFRAF with 15 terrorist members, and received necessary finances and explosive devices to carry out terror acts from CRPH and NUG terrorist groups.
· Shu Maung Maung Aung attended terrorist explosive training in KLNA brigade area (3), and Wai Yan Phyo, Wai Yan Oo (aka) Jimmy and Khin Thandar Lwin attended a place of jungle for one month.
It was leant that the so-called BFRAF terrorist group committed 11 terrorist bombings on public areas in Yangon Region as follows:
· They conducted IED attack on No (1) Myoma Police Station of Thakayta Township on 7 September 2021.
· They carried out another IED attack on Ward Administrative Office of Hninsikone (a) ward in Thingangyun Township on 20 September 2021.
· An IED explosion occurred at the corner of Zeyathukha and Thapyaynyo streets at No (25) ward in Thingangyun Township on 30 September 2021.
· Another IED explosion happened at Thinbaw Kyin bus stop near township customs office in Dawbon Township on 1 October 2021.
· They committed an IED attack on Township Development Office located on Myintawthar Road in No (5) ward of Thakaytha Township on 25 December 2021.
· They carried out an IED attack on Kyauktada Township Police Station in No (1) Ward of Kyauktada Township on 1 January 2022.
· They threw an IED to Thinbaw Kyin Police Station in Dawbon Township on 5 January 2022.
· They threw another IED to Township Electricity Office in Thakaytha Township on 6 January 2022.
· An IED explosion occurred at Yan Aung Ward of Thakaytha Township on 1 February 2022.
· They carried out two IEDs attacks on entrance gate to “War War Win” construction co.,ltd. in Hlinethaya Township on 6 April 2022.
· They threw IED to a vehicle stopped at YBS (56) bus station beside Thakhin Mya park of Ayeyawady ward in Ahlone Township on 6 April 2022.
Therefore, the relevant security force members are taking necessary investigations to take effective legal action against those arrested offenders.
