The NUG’s affiliate PDF terrorist groups are committing the crimes of blowing up the public roads, streets and departmental offices with the intent to inflict damages to the people living in peaceful environment and the security officials discharging the duties of law enforcement.
In this regard, on 27 June, two innocent civilans from Monywa township and one from Chaung-U township riding motorbikes were injured in the explosion of an IED planted by PDF terrorists on the Monywa-Mandalay road between mile-marks 70 of one furlong and two furlongs. The victims are: Maung Pho Chae, 17 (s/o) U Zaw Khin and Ma Tin Win Khaing, 17 (d/o) U Nyo Win from Aung Chan Tha ward of Monywa township and Daw Khin Nyein Myat, 29 (d/o) U Win Ko living in Chaung-U North ward of Chaung-U township.
In the aftermath of the IED explosion, Daw Khin Nyein Myat got splinter wounds on her right forehand and calf; Maug Pho Chae got two injuries of fractures on his left thigh and bruise on his left knee; and Ma Win Win Khaing got splinter wounds on left thigh, on her back-head and a fracture of her leg. The injured victims are now taking medical treatments in Chaung-U public hospital.
The PDF terrorists are committing the inhumane crimes of planting mines and IEDs in the crowded public areas including roads and bridges which are non-military targets. Therefore, people are denouncing such acts and willing others to protest against such acts of terrorism.
It is reported that security forces continue necessary actions to arrest the terrorist groups who planted the IED on the public road.
