The Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by Lt-Gen Phone Myat of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and officials, delivered speech at the meeting with officers, other ranks and family members in Minbya station in the guest house of the station on 15 June. During the meeting, the Vice-Senior General stressed the following points:
- Every works cannot be implemented by single person but many persons with team spirit.
- As they have to implement the assignments under the family spirit, they all need to build understanding and unity.
- Commanders are responsible for taking care of life security of officers, other ranks and families under the directives, rules and regulations of the Tatmadaw. Only if so, will the subordinates dutifully implement the assignments.
- They should always practise the military skills they have learnt and that only in this way will they always be prepared to perform the duties of defending the country.
- With regards to the education sector, the Head of State has been encouraging the education and has set the aid for education.
- As regards the health sector, medical officers, nurses and midwives must be organized at the headquarters of military units with supply of medicines and medical equipment.
- It is necessary to prevent monsoon diseases with the health awareness. The Vice-Senior General stressed the need for individual and families of Tatmadaw members to control themselves for food and accommodation.
The Vice-Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) cordially greeted officers, other ranks and family members in the meeting after presenting foodstuffs to them.
