Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Meets Commanders and Senior Military Officers of Local Naval Region Command Headquarters in Thanlyin and Dala stations

 

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered speeches at the meeting with commanders and senior military officers of local naval region command headquarters in Thanlyin and Dala stations at the hall of Ayeyawady Naval Region Command Headquarters in Botahtaung Township on 10 June.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the SAC Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services stressed the following points:

  • It is necessary to systematic control subordinates to abide by waterway disciplines adopted by the State and supervise vessels not to breach the disciplines and not to carry unofficial commodities.

  • The good and bad situation of a command headquarters depends on the capacity of commanders of the respec­tive military units, and only when commanders control the units under their good command, will it be a good unit.

  • Innovative ideas and true leadership will improve the leadership qualities. They must systematically command their units as a well-disciplined and obedient. Leaders should try to live a perfect life and administer the headquarters well, while performing their daily duties in a correct way.

  • Discipline must be enforced through different levels of command and the correctness in every stage of the work process must be ensured. Skill and talent can be applied just for a particular task or a field, while good leadership means controlling subordinates by considering various measures. They have to study the ways and means to be good leaders with well-farsightedness and consideration in all aspects.

Also present at the meeting together with the Chairman of the SAC Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in- Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and Yangon Command Commander, commanders and senior military officers of local naval region command headquarters in Thanlyin and Dala stations.
