Government Peace Talks Team and the Delegation led by the Chairman of KNU/KNLA (PC) Continue their Discussions

 

The government Peace Talks Team and the delegation led by the Chairman of the Karen National Liberation Army (Peace Council) KNU/KNLA (PC) continued their meeting at the meeting hall of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Center in Nay Pyi Taw on 27 and 28 May.

During the meeting, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Chairman Saw Htaw Lay of the KNU/KNLA (PC) delivered greeting speeches and the participants discussed the following matters related to peace and development of the State:

  • The matters related to the agreements of Part 1/2/3 of the Union Accord,

  • The matters related to the remaining issues in Table-2 from Part 3 to be discussed,

  • The findings of the analysis team of the National Solidarity and Peace-making Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) were explained.

The meeting was attended by State Administration Council Member Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Council Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Lt-Gen Min Naung, Chairman Saw Htaw Lay of the KNU/KNLA (PC), Vice Chair Dr Naw Kapaw Htoo and Central Executive Committee Member Saw Maung Maung.

  • The government Peace Talks Team and the delegation led by the Chairman of the Karen National Liberation Army (Peace Council) KNU/KNLA (PC) continued their meeting on 27 and 28 May. Both sides discussed on the matters related to peace and development.
