Arrangements being made for Myanmar Workers to Legally Work in Foreign Countries

 

The Ministry of Labour is making arrangement for Myanmar workers to legally work in Thailand and Japan and sent 20 male workers and 10 female workers to Thailand on 24 May under an MoU system.

The foreign employment agency, Thailand licensed Pwint Phoo Aung Co.,Ltd. arranged those workers to work at G and A Thaifruits Co.,Ltd in Thailand with two-year contract, and the Ministry of Labour supervised them to legally work there. Moreover, the officials of Department of Labour, Kawthoung District Office under Ministry of Immigration and Population, and departmental organizations made necessary inspection.

As there are many offers of Myanmar workers from the industries and companies in Japan, the Ministry of Labour legally sends between 100 and 500 Myanmar workers to there. In offering the workers from Japan, the employees offer letter will be sent to Ministry of Labour through Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then the workers will be sent to the respective countries after systematic inspection of Myanmar-Japan’s Approved Employees Sending Organizations.
