The demonstration under the theme of supporting the invitation by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister for peace talks to Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) and denouncing foreign interference was continued to hold.
- On 22 May, the demonstration and denouncing foreign interference was staged at the Shwe Man Taung stadium in Aungmyethazan township of Mandalay region. The event was attended by officials of Union Solidarity and Development Party, Nationalist Sayadaws, male and female writers and around 3,000 people who desire peace.
- On 23 May, the demonstration and denouncing foreign interference was stagedat the Shwepyitha Pagoda compound of MyinnBhaat ward and Shanpwe ward in Pyawbwe township of Mandalay region. The event was attended by monks, officials of Union Solidarity and Development Party and around 4,000 people who desire peace.
Public lectures were made under the topics of ‘Supporting the efforts to ensure peace across the nation and denouncing the foreign interference’ and ‘Moving toward peaceful country’.
People in the event made chanting of ‘Non-disintegration of the Union,’‘Non-disintegration of the national solidarity,’‘Perpetuation of national sovereignty,’ ‘Peace for the Union,’ ‘Fight against danger of foreign interference,’ ‘Falling of destructionists who are disturbing peace,’and ‘Peace talks must be succeeded,’ it is reported.
