Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Pays Homage to Remains of State Ovadacariya Shwethuwun Sayadaw

Presiding Nayaka of PonnyaNeinmitayamaShwethuwun Monastery in Kyeepwaryay Ward in Thingangyun Township of Yangon Region State Ovadacariya Sayadaw Abhidhaja MahaRattha Guru Abhidhaja AggaMaha Saddhammajotika Bhaddanta Saddhiya passed away at 1:40 am on 21 May 2022.The remains of the Sayadaw are being kept at Shwethuwun Monastery.

On 22 May, the Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) and party paid homage to the remains ofthe Sayadaw and made cash donation. The Vice-Senior General and party supplicated plans to hold the final rites to OvadacariyaSayadaws of the Final Rites Organizing Committee, and fulfilledthe needs.
