Terrorists of NUG and PDF terrorist groups are committing the acts of terrorism and destroying the roads/ bridges in some regions so as to deteriorate the State’s peace, stability and rule of law. Moreover, they are also setting fire to public houses.
On 16 May, security forces had arrived at the Saung Nan Khae village of Pekon township of Shane State (south) on an information that PDF terrorists were setting fire to the houses of innocent civilians in the village. When security forces attempted to arrest the terrorists setting fire to the public houses, they ran away.
There are 82 arson attacks carried out by PDF terrorists in total: 31 arsons similar to above-mention incidents in which terrorists set fire to the houses on the way of retreat after engaging with security personnel; 21 arsons after accusing people of ‘informant/dalan’; 13 arsons under the reason of being pro-military people; and 17 other arsons after accusing people of ‘Pyu Saw Htee’. In spite of that, the media agencies of Nation-destruction are reportedly disseminating fake news and disinformation portraying as if the security personnel are responsible and accountable for the arson attacks.
