The deputy headmaster U Thaung Tin Tun, 55 from Basic Education High School-BEHS of Budalin township of Sagaing region was reportedly killed by terrorists on 21 April. While the victim was at the grocery store named ‘Taw Wun Tun’ opened in front of his house located beside Monywa - Yay-U road, two terrorists appeared and opened fire to him. He was left with gunshot wounds and died while taking treatments at public hospital of the township.
On the course of utter devastation, the PDF terrorists under the directives of NUG terrorist group, with the intent to disrupt the peaceful study of students, are not only carrying out IED and arson attacks on schools, but also brutally killing the innocent civilians and education staff of teachers. In this regard, up to 23 April, 12 male teachers, 13 female teachers and three staff were brutally killed while 9 male teachers, 14 female teachers and five staff were injured.
It is reported that necessary measures have been taken to identify and arrest the terrorists who killed the teachers teaching students as the good nature of civil servants.
