NSPNC Secretary Receives the Delegation Led by Cambodian Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Secretary of State, Head of Special Envoy Office of ASEAN Chairmanship

The National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung received a delegation led by Secretary of State H.E Dr Kung Phoak of Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Head of Special Envoy Office of ASEAN Chairmanship at National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Centre in Nay Pyi Taw on 20 April.

During the event, National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Secretary highlighted the following matters:

  • Implementation of peacemaking processes, holding dialogues with ethnic armed organizations, and cooperation with relevant organizations for the matters of humanitarian assistance.

Secretary of State Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E Dr Kung Phoak discussed the following points:

  • The matters relating to the humanitarian assistance to Myanmar, further support in peace processes in Myanmar and negotiations to resolve the current issues.

It is reported that NSPNC Secretary and the Head of Special Envoy Office of ASEAN Chairmanship cordially exchanged views on the matters they wanted to know.

  • During the meeting, National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Secretary explained the matters relating to the implementation of peacemaking processes, holding dialogues with ethnic armed organizations, and cooperation with relevant organizations for the matters of humanitarian assistance.
