Government of India Donate 8,000 Tonnes of Rice and Wheat to Myanmar as a Humanitarian Assistance

The Government of India donated 8,000 tonnes of rice and wheat to Myanmar as a humanitarian assistance.

During the virtual coordination meeting on the distribution of the rice and wheat, the Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khaing discussed with the Military Regional Commander and officials about the distribution of rice and wheat to the people in 11 townships.

It is reported that the Chief Minister, the Military Regional Commander and officials inspected the measures prepared to easily take rice and wheat which will be kept in the Asia World Port Terminal and the Myanmar Industrial Port located in Ahlon township of Yangon Region on 19 April.
