Food Items and Donation Cash Provided to Muslims Fasting During Ramadan in Mingala Taungnyunt and Chanayethazan Townships

Chief Ministers of Yangon region and Mandalay region, relevant Commanders of Regional Military Commands and officials visited the Muslims fasting during Ramadan and donated food items to them in respective regions as follows:

• On 8 April, Mandalay region Chief Minister U Maung Ko and party as well as officials from Central Command donated food items to the 330 Muslims fasting in Joon Mosque.
• On 9 and 10 April, Yangon region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of Yangon Command, Maj. Gen. Nyunt Win Swe and officials provided food items and donation cashes to 14 imams, 13 member of Mosque trustee and 470 Muslims fasting in Ta-Chan-Pae Mosque located on Pan Soe Tan Upper Road, Mingalar Taungnyunt Township and in Cholia Jamai Mosque in Pabedan township of Yangon region.

• On 8 and 9 April, Chief Ministers of relevant region, Commanders of relevant Regional Military Commands and officials visited the Muslims fasting during Ramadan and provided them donation cash and food items in Mingalar Taungnyunt, Pabedan and Chanayethazan townships.
