PDF Terrorists Blow Up Education Facilities in Some Township

PDF terrorists are committing the inhumane crimes of terrorism such as: threatening and killing teachers and education staff and blowing up the education facilities as well as destroying the exam answer papers of students in some township with the intent to disrupt the education learning of the youths for their future.

• On 5 April in Bago region, an IED planted by PDF terrorists exploded in front of the Basic Education High School-BEHS (Ohnnae), in Ohnnae village of Kawa township. A local U Zaw Min Htike, 34 got the injury from the explosion while he was in the vicinity of the incident and was sent to Ohnnae station hospital.
• On 6 April in Yangon region, acting on the information tips about the suspected packages found near the BEHS (3) of Shwepyitha township, security forces arrived there to conduct more investigations. In this regard, security forces found three IEDs from two packages near the school entrance and another one on the other side of the road and deactivated them.

Security forces continue necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorists who attempted to prevent, disrupt and destroy the efforts to promote the education sector and human resource developments.
