Vice-Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win Inspects Livestock Breeding and Training Battalion in Bahtoo

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC) Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by the party, inspected Livestock Breeding and Training Battalion in Bahtoo station on 4 April. The Vice-Senior General and party inspected the implementation of the model agriculture and livestock breeding zone on a total of 55 acres of land, cultivation of seasonal crops, land substitution crops, cultivation of crops in greenhouses and tissue-cultured jade banana plants (Theehmway variety), the breeding of the DYL pedigree piglets and  the land-based water harvesting structure, raising of layers in the air-conditioned chamber, and breeding of dairy cows and beef cattle, donkeys and asses.

Then, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services instructed the officials to distribute agriculture and livestock breeding products including meat, fish, vegetables at cheaper prices to officers, other ranks and families of battalions and units and the excess to government staff and local residents in accordance with the guidance with the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister of the State and  urged them the needs to exert relentless efforts to implement a successful model agriculture and livestock breeding zone in the region.
