Terrorists of political extremists, with the intent to stop the Government administrative mechanism and disrupt the State’s peace and stability, are conducting violent acts and sabotages as per the instigations from behind. In this regard, they are also committing the crimes such as blowing up and attacking the education offices and schools using grenades, IEDs, and small arms as follows:
- On 1 April, PDF terrorists coming out from the rubber forest located on the west of the Basic Education High School (Yay Phyu) and threw homemade sound-bomb into the school campus. They then ran away to the back of the rubber forest. The sound-bomb fell and exploded on the spot beside the concrete-fence 15 feet away from the school building. No injury and damage were reported.
- On 1 April, PDF terrorists fired four shots of improvised mortar to the Monywa University of Economics in Monywa city of Sagaing region from paddy fields 300 yards from the University. Some motar shells fell on the campus leaving the roof, ceiling, window glasses of a hostel damaged.
- On 2 April, PDF terrorists blew up the Basic Education Middle School (Myauk Inn) in Kawlin township using homemade remote mine and also fired with 40-mm grenades. The 40-mm grenades fell and exploded on the assembly ground of the school but no injury and damages were reported.
- On 2 April, on the campus of Bhamo University of Kachin state, an IED planted by terrorists in a garbage near a football pitch exploded leaving the window and door glasses of the hostels nearby shattered.
- Similarly, on the same day, an IED planted by terrorists exploded on the campus of No (1) BEHS of Yesagyo township of Magway region. However, no damage and injury were reported.
- In Matubi township of Chin state, religious leaders U Romeo, 37, and U Tainzarshan, 43, residents of Inyaw ward of Rezua town were wounded with mine explosion injuries on the campus of Basic Education Primary School on 2 April when they checked the school as its windows were found open and an IED planted by terrorists exploded.
NUG and PDF terrorists with the envious minds and cunning plots are destroying the youths of future generations as well as their endeavours on the course of Human Resources (HR).
Security forces are speeding up the security measures not to occur such incidents again in the future and will also identify and arrest the perpetrators in the above-mentioned incidents. People are also urged and informed to cooperate with security forces by secretly informing the about the movement of the terrorist groups for the sake of community peace and stability.
