Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung Receives Ms Hai Kyung Jun, Resident Representative of UNHCR in Myanmar

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung received Ms Hai Kyung Jun, Resident Representative of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Myanmar at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 30 March. During the meeting, they cordially discussed the following matters:

• The activities for the stability, peace, and development of the border areas, socio-economic development and the development of human resources of the ethnic people living in the border areas.
• The repatriation and resettlement processes implemented by the Rakhine State Coordinating Committee on Peace and Stability and Development.

They cordially exchanged views on the matters relating to the development status and future implementation plans by the National-Level Committee on Resettlement and Closure of Temporary Camps for Internally Displaced Persons which is working effectively by forming state-level committees, in addition to the five working committees.
