Security Forces Search and Seize Mines Planted by the so-called PDF Terrorists

As the so-called CRPH and NUG terrorist groups and their subordinates of so-called PDF groups are conducting acts of terrorism such as mine attacks on State’s buildings, public areas, hospitals, health centres, schools and religion related buildings with the aim of gaining their interests and deteriorating to the peace and stability of the State, security forces are carrying out necessary security matters and making searches for explosives.  

· Security forces found 7 homemade mines being planted at the position near the Watlu village of Mandalay region and 3 homemade mines in front of Basic Education Post Primary School located in Pekhingyi village on 22 December, and deactivated and destroyed them. 

· As security forces seized 30 different homemade mines, three packages of gunpowder, sacks of scraps of iron, 24 different keypads and related items in houses in which no one is living in the Watlu village.

· Security forces searched for explosives in the vehicle of Hino Dina driven by Wai Phyo Aung, son of U Thein Soe near the Patku village. According to Wai Phyo Aung, further offenders in connection with him were seized with 45 different genades, 1500 bullet rounds of AK-47 rifle, 12 magazines, 50 electric detonators and 300 illicit WY labelled tablets.

It is reported that security forces are conducting to arrest those who had conducted acts of terrorism for occurring casualties to public and other offenders in connection with them.
