The so-called PDF terrorists blew up railway section in Sintgaing township of Mandalay region with the intents to deteriorate the public transports and inflict damages to the innocent people.
· No (1) Yangon-Mandalay uptrain was blown up by a remote mine by so-called PDF terrorists around 9:15 am on 24 December when the train reached between the mile-marks of 373 miles – two furlongs and three furlongs near the Baelin station in Sintgaing township of Mandalay region. Due to the explosion, about two feet of the railway track was damaged, three sleepers were destroyed and two wheels of GBHV 40018 fright wagon derailed. However, no civilian passengers were reported.
As the mail train used by the ordinary people for their livelihood was attacked, the locals and passengers are disgusted by the PDF terrorists. The relevant officials are taking necessary measures to identify and arrest the terrorists who blew up the public railroad to deteriorate the public transports and inflict damages to the innocent people.
