Occasion of Full Percent Completion Held on designated Pan Khin Project in Tanintharyi Region

The occasion of full completion on designated Pankhin Project undertaken by Ministry of Immigration and Population in Tanintharyi Region was held at the “Myintzu Thaka” Hall of Kawthaung city on 19 March.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi said:

  • The Pankhin project is a critical project to implement the fifth point of Five-Point roadmap.
  • The project is one of the State’s projects which is needed to be implemented to issue CSCs to the people for casting votes in the upcoming elections.
  • The issuance of 11,897 CSCsto people in Tanintharyi region has been designated and now full percent of designated Pankhin project has been completed in Tanintharyi regions.

The Tanintharyi region has three districts, 10 townships, 90 wards, 270 village tracts and 1184 villages. It is designated to issue 115,897 CSCs in the area under the Pankhin project. It is reported that 140,398 CSCs had been issued to people, accounting for 121.14 percent and the project in the area could be completed more than full percent of designated Pankhin project.
