Chief of Staff (Army) Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and Chief of Military Security Affairs Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo Meets Separately Meets Military Representatives of ASEAN Countries who Join Meetings in Cambodia

The Chief of Staff (Army) of Myanmar Armed Forces Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, who attended the 12th ASEAN Military Operations Meeting (12th AMOM), separately met the Chairman of the 12th AMOM Chief of Military Operations of Cambodia, representatives of Thailand, the Philippines, Laos and Brunei respectively on 14 and 15 March. The Chief of Military Security Affairs of Myanmar Armed Forces, who arrived in Cambodia to join the 19th ASEAN Military Intelligence Meeting (AMIM19), separately met the delegation of Cambodia on 14 March, and the delegations of Thailand, Viet Nam, Malaysia and Laos on 15 March.

• During the events, they cordially discussed the current political situation of Myanmar and efforts of the government, matters related to development friendship and relations between the two armies and regional security.

It is reported that officials exchanged gifts with the military representatives of ASEAN countries after the meetings.
