The State Administration Council issued a press release describing that the following individuals who violated the existing laws of the State and left the country illegally were found to be committing acts that could harm the interests of Myanmar and their citizenships are terminated.

- As 11 individuals who violated the existing law of the State and left the country illegally were found to be committing acts that could harm the interests of Myanmar, an announcement was made on 4-3-2022 that their citizenship was terminated under the 1982 Myanmar Citizenship Law. The citizenship of the following persons who were further found guilty of similar acts was terminated under Section 16 of the 1982 Myanmar Citizenship Law, according to the authority of the Central Body under Section 67 of the 1982 Myanmar Citizenship Law.
(a) Saung Oo Hlaing (son of U Swe Lin Aye)
(b) Maung Maung Aye (son of U Yin Hwa)
(c) Khin Ma Ma Myo (daughter of U Myo Thant)
(d) Pyi Thit Nyunt Wai (a) Maung Maung (son of U Nyunt Wai)
(e) Phyu Phyu Thin (daughter of U HlaTun)
- It is reported that similar action will be taken against those found further.
- As Saung Oo Hlaing, Maung Maung Aye, Khin Ma Ma Myo, Pyi Thit Nyunt Wai and Phyu Phyu Thin who violated the existing law of the State and left the country illegally were found to be committing acts that could harm the interests of Myanmar, their citizenships are terminated.
