Members of Kyaukse PDF Terrorists Committing Acts of Terrorism in Arrested along with Arms/Ammunition

Efforts are being made to identify and arrest members of CRPH, NUG and PDF terrorist groups, which are declared as terrorist organizations, not to operate in villages and townships. According to the reports of some conscientious civilians who want to live peacefully, a combined security team arrested Tin Maung Htwe (aka) Yan Aung Htwe  of 42, who are operating as an incharge for financial support and coordination of Kyaukse PDF terrorist group, at No(72), ward (12), Ayetharyar town, Taunggyi township. Along with him, eight cell phones, MMK nine million and camouflage uniforms were also seized.

According to the confessions of Tin Maung Htwe and other perpetrators arrested:

  • One perpetrator from Aungnyaytharzan township, another one perpetrators from Chanayetharzan township and three perpetrators from Kyaukse township were arrested and five pistol guns, four electric detonated homemade bombs were also seized along with them. Additional four perpetrators from Patheingyi township were arrested and three coils of detonation cords and 570 soft ignition cables were also seized along with them.
  • Similarly, four KA-25 guns, 12 magazines, 1,000 bullet rounds of 7.62 mm, 34 hand-grenades, two slings for guns, 1,125 cartridges, 4,940 detonators and one bag of TNT gunpowder, which were put into packing bags, were confiscated in the bushes by the side of cart-track near Hanmyintmoh village in Kyaukse township.
  • When the combined security team carried out the sweeping operation around the Dayelkaung village in Myittha township where the Kyaukse PDF terrorist group led by Thura (Nagarni) who is still at large, stayed as a base camp, the terrorists fled away. At that time, a total of 30 homemade mines and explosive devices were confiscated in the tents which were stayed by terrorists.
  • In the incident, a total of 10 offenders (seven males and three females) were arrested along with four KA-25, five homemade pistols, four electric detonated homemade bombs, 12 magazines, 1,000 bullet rounds of 7.62 mm, 34 grenades, 34 homemade mines, two slings for guns, 1,695 cartridges, 4,940 detonator cords, three rolls of ignition cord, one bag of TNT gunpowder, K9 million and related explosive materials.

The arrested offenders committed the following acts of terrorism:

  • It found out that Aung Ko Ko organized and led the LPDF terrorist group in June 2021 and Fatty (still at large) led the group after Aung Ko Ko was arrested in October.  The LPDF terrorist group was changed under the name of KDF terrorist group starting from January 2022 and Tin Maung Htwe conducted the in-charge for finance and coordination of the KDF.
  • According to the confessions of the offender Tin Maung Htwe, the members of the KDF terrorist group attended the terrorist explosive training courses in the KIA and TNLA insurgents’ areas, and those who completed the course conducted the multiplier courses near Tabekswel and Thamannsar villages in Sintgaing township.
  • According to the confessions of the offender Tin Maung Htwe, he collected the cash assistance from NLD extremists in local/foreign countries via social networks starting from June in 2021 and supported the cash assistance to the trainees of the terrorist training course, used it in purchasing weapons and ammunition and it for his personnel cases. The seized funds are keeping for using his personnel cases without paying the members of the KDF terrorists when he fled and hid.
  • Tin Maun Htwe, Myint Swe and San Shay took the confiscated weapons and ammunition from Myo Nyunt, a resident of Nantkhone village in Kyaukme township, connecting by Aung Myo Latt, a member of CRPH terrorist group, who is still at large (a former representative of Amyotha Hluttaw, a member of NLD party in Myingyan township). Then, Zin Myo Thu transported the weapons and ammunition and Chit Paing and Aung Thu kept them near Hanmyintmo village of Kyaukse township.
  • The arrested offender Tin Maung Htwe ordered Kyaw Thu Lin to buy the seized explosive devices from Khin Myo Sein, a resident of Patheingyi township, and instructed Thein Hlaing Win to transport them to Aung Thu, a resident of Hanmyintmoe village of Kyaukse township after keeping the explosive devices at the house of Kyaw Sann.
  • It found out that the arrested offender May Than communicated and coordinated with Tin Maung Htwe in order to disrupt the administrative mechanisms of the State, threaten the public and assassinate the civil servants.
  • Aung Ko Ko threw homemade bomb to the house of an innocent civilian, living in Wounhtan New Ward of Paleik town in Sintgaing township on 23 May 2021.
  • Aung Ko Ko threw again homemade bomb to a monastery located in the centre of Ywarbo village of Sintgaing township on 5 October 2021.
  • Moreover, Aung Ko Ko shot an innocent civilian to death using small firearm, living in Wounhtan New Ward of Paleik town in Sintgaing township on 28 October 2021.

It is reported that the measures will be continued to take the legal action against the arrested offenders. The entire people are urged to stop the acts of terrorism conducted by the terrorists, and requested to report secretly to the relevant authorities if they knew the information about their hideouts and movements in order to arrest the related offenders who were participating in the acts of terrorism and supporting behind.
