Ceremony of 50th Golden Jubilee Myanmar Health Research Congress Continues into Fourth Day

The fourth day session of the 50th Golden Jubilee Myanmar Health Research Congress has been organized on 24 February at the Department of Medical Research, No (5), the Ziwaka street in Dagon township of Yangon region through videoconferencing. At the congress, respective medical experts made presentations on the following topics:

  • “Inter-professional Education (IPE) and Inter-professional Collaborative Practice (IPCP): Promise for Quality Health Workforce and Quality Healthcare”.
  • “Navigating the Integration of IPE into Medical and Allied Health Training Programmes: How far have we reached”.
  • “Implementation of IPCP: Possibilities and Challenges”.
  • “Way forward: Team Collaboration and Organizational Support”. Afterwards, professors and medical experts who attended the event exchanged their views and raised questions on the discussions via videoconferencing.

In the evening, parallel sessions of the symposium were simultaneously held and a total of 20 papers regarding basic research, applied research, social and health system research were presented through videoconferencing and Professor/Head of Department from University of Medicine (1) and (2) chaired the congress. Those who want to raise the questions in regard to papers asked questions to the researchers through chat box and the latter replied to their questions.
