Union Ministers and People Enjoyed the Display Decorated Floats Representing Union Territory and Regions/States

A total of 46 decorated floats representing Union Territory, Regions/States which were participating in the ceremony in commemoration of Diamond Jubilee Union Day are parked at the Tabaung ground in front of the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw. In the event, a total of 20 ethnic food shops were selling the ethnic traditional foods as follows:

• On 13 February, Kachin state traditional dance troupe performed the traditional dance in front of the decorated vehicle representing the Kachin state. The Union Minister and party enjoyed and participated in it.
• The students, staff and families from ministries and local people actively observed the culture, living styles, traditions, customs and local products of ethnic people in Myanmar which are demonstrated on the decorated floats.
• As a special program, the ethnic food shops from respective regions and states are selling the ethnic traditional foods. These shops are crowing with the visitors.

The authorities issued an announcement that the display of the decorated floats is available between 8 am and 5 pm from 13 to 15 February in order to observe for public. It is reported that the show is being crowded with youths, staff and families from ministries and locals.
