Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Pays Homage to Maha Myat Muni Buddha Image in Kengtung Township, Saturathta Thumingala Pagoda on Loimwe Hill Station, and Inspects Development Tasks of Loimwe Region

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, members of the SAC, Union Ministers, Shan state Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun and officials conducted the following activities on 14 February:

• The Prime Minister and party led by Presiding Nayaka of the Thiladhamma Kontha Tawya monastery (Wasipeik) Sayadaw paid homage to the Maha Myat Muni Buddha Image in Keng Tung township. Then the Prime Minister and party presented K77.1 million donated by well-wishers to Chairman U Sai Haung Kham Nwam of the pagoda board of trustees and party.
• Afterwards, the Prime Minister and party paid homage to Saturathta Thumingala Pagoda on the Loimwe hill station and donated cash to         members of the pagoda board of trustees for the all-round renovation fund of the pagoda. They then paid homage to hill missionary Sayadaw Bhaddanta Vepulla and donated cash for nine prerequisites and offerings.

The Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister and party inspected the development tasks of Loimwe region as follows:

• They inspected the maintenance tasks of the historic 100-year chamber (aged 104-year) for its sustainability.
• They also inspected the dredging of the Loimwe Lake, maintenance and upgrade tasks, and storage of water at the Kaunghmutaw Dam.
• Moreover, they inspected the site where the sky train station will be built from the Loimwe hill station to the Buddha Park in Pankwe village for contribution to the regional development.
• The Prime Minister and party conducted the inspection on the site where the Kengtung Haw replica palace will be built near the Nawngtong Lake, and the maintenance tasks of the Nawngtong Lake and upgrading of the circular road.

The Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister fulfilled their requirements with relevant officials.
