On 11 February, a terrorist group blew up No. (38) bailey railway bridge (40 feet in length) located on Yangon-Mawlamyine railway between Mupalin station and Kyaikkatha station near Mayan village of Kyaikto township of Mon State. Due to the explosion, 11 sleepers of the railway bridge were damaged and railway trips were temporarily suspended.
The terrorists of political extremists are not only destroying the non-military targets of State-owned and private-owned buildings and properties but also blowing up roads and bridges for no reason causing transportation difficulties. Therefore, the entire population are disgusted by the terrorists.
Security forces reportedly continue necessary measures to arrest and take punitive legal against the terrorists who blew up the bailey railway bridge, and concerned authorities are making efforts to repair the bridge at soonest.
