Religious Organizations Make a Request for Perpetual Peace in Myanmar

Regarding the invitation to perpetual peace and Diamond Jubilee Union Day Ceremony that was stated in the announcement 1/2022 released by the State Administration Council, the All Myanmar Hindu Central Council and the Myanmar Council of Churches also released their opinions.  

• The All Myanmar Hindu Central Council released the opinion that it believes the announcement aims at free exchange of views among participants with no pre-restriction for the topics of the talks and such announcement will be a new pace to a goal of perpetual peace for Myanmar. In this regard, on behalf of Hindu people living across the country, the council calls on all ethnic armed organizations to attend the talks and the Diamond Jubilee Union Day ceremony,   and to cooperate in the implementation of the development of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
• With the God’s love, the Myanmar Council of Churches also respectfully called for all relevant leaders to cooperate in the attempt for the perpetual peace. Those who make peace are graceful. The reason is that those persons will be regarded as Son of God.

In the announcement 1/2022 released by the State Administration Council, all ethnic armed organizations were invited to hold talks about the perpetual peace through seeking the way to solve the political problems, the internal affairs of our country, in accord with the democratic practices and to attend the grand ceremony of Diamond Jubilee Union Day coincided with the 75^th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day.                        

• Regarding the invitation to perpetual peace and Diamond Jubilee Union Day Ceremony by the State Administration Council, the All Myanmar Hindu Central Council and the Myanmar Council of Churches also released the statements calling on all ethnic armed organizations and all relevant leaders to cooperate in the implementation of the development of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
