On 8 February, four male terrorists blew up No. (173) bailey railway bridge crossing the Thingangyun stream near the Tawkamar village of Yay township of Mon state. Two steel foundation frames bent and its two railing iron bars were also broken in the mine explosion. Yay-Mawlamyine railway trip was temporarily suspended as the bridge was damaged in the explosion.
The terrorists of political extremists are not only destroying the non-military targets of State-owned and private-owned buildings and properties but also blowing up roads and bridges for no reason causing transportation difficulties. Therefore, the entire population are disgusted by the terrorists.
Security forces reportedly continue necessary measures to arrest and take punitive legal against the terrorists who blew up the bailey railway bridge, and concerned authorities are making efforts to repair the bridge at soonest.
