Actions Continue against Unscrupulous Persons who Follow and Make Incitements and Propaganda of CRPH and NUG Terrorist Groups, their Subordinates and Colluded Groups

The entire population has already been informed not to follow the incitements and propaganda made by CRPH and NUG, which were declared terrorist groups, their subordinates and colluded groups. In spite of that, some unscrupulous persons made incitements and propaganda to disrupt the State peace and stability via social media. Therefore, necessary actions have been taken against them in line with law. In this regard:

· On 2 February, five from Yangon region and two from Magway region, totaling 7 were taken legal actions. 

· On 3 February, one from Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, 14 from Yangon region, 15 from Mandalay region, one from Kayin state and two from Shan state, totaling 33 were taken legal actions.

· On 4 February, one from Naypyidaw Union Territory, two from Kayin state, two from Bago region and five from Yangon region, totaling 10 were taken legal actions.

· On 5 February, one from Naypyidaw Union Territory, one from Sagaing region, one from Thaninthayi region, five from Yangon region and three from Shan state, totaling 11 were taken legal actions.

· On 6 February, four from Bago region, seven from Mandalay region and four from Yangon region, totaling 15 were taken legal actions. From 27 January to 6 February, legal actions were taken against a total of 177 people under the law.

It is reported that necessary actions will be continued against the instigators and unscrupulous persons making propaganda.

  • From 2 February to 6 February, a total of 76 people were arrested in  Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, six regions and two states.
  • From 27 January to 6 February, legal actions were taken against a total of 177 people under the law.
  • Punitive actions will be taken against the instigators and unscrupulous persons making propaganda.
