PDF Terrorists launch bomb attacks on Township Development Council Office in SarTaung Township Shwe Taung Company-owned Toll Gate at the entry to Myinmu Township in Sagaing Region. Due to the bomb attacks:

  • At 11:00 pm on 31 January, nine windows glasses of the office building, one sink and one water cooler were damaged.
  • At 12:10 pm on 1 February, some 30 PDF terrorists with a “LIGHT TRUCK” car and five motorcycles arrived at the toll-gate built by Shwe Taung Company and blew up it using homemade IEDs. Therefore, 18 CCTV cameras installed at the toll-gate, six Industrial Computers, six Touch Monitors, one Server Reck, four Line Stations and the ceiling of the toll-gate building (estimated at a total worth of about K1,00 million) were damaged.

Reflecting the ideology of utter devastation of the State, under the guidance of NUG, PDF terrorists are blowing up for no reason State-owned and privately-owned buildings, public residential houses which are non-military targets and toll-gates which collect money for using road. Such attacks inflict losses on the people’s interests and cause blockades on transport and public panic. Therefore, the entire people are disgusted by such terrorists’ acts.

Security forces joining hands with local military columns continue to identify and arrest the terrorists who committed bomb attacks on State-owned and privately-owned buildings.
