Legal Action Taken against Those who Follow Incitements and Propaganda Spread by CRPH, NUG Declared as Terrorist Organizations and Its Subordinates

CRPH and NUG declared as terrorist organizations, their subordinates and colluded groups and persons are attempting to disrupt the stability of the State and collapse the State government’s administrative mechanism in various ways, causing public panic.

The statement was released on 25 January stating that the people would face legal actions under the law if they follow such incitements and propaganda, without understanding or by fear or by sounds or by manners or by any means, was released via State-run media. 

Legal actions were taken under the law against those who made incitements to disruption of State stability and propaganda via social media, ignoring the statement. Total cases were as follows:

  • On 31 January, 11 from Yangon region, four from Mandalay region, one from Sagaing region, one from Bago region, four from Ayeyawady region, one from Taninthayi region and one from Norhtern Shan state were taken legal actions. From 27 to 31 January, legal actions are taken against a total of 85 people under the law.

 It is reported that further instigators who are making incitements and propaganda will be taken legal actions in accordance with the law.     

  • CRPH and NUG declared as terrorist organizations, their subordinates and colluded groups and persons are attempting to disrupt the stability of the State and collapse the State government’s administrative mechanism in various ways, causing public panic.
  • Legal actions are taken under the law against a total of 85 people who instigated to disrupt the stability of the State and made propagandas by ignoring the statement released.
