Members of KNLA Brigade (5) and PDF Terrorists Attack Dar Gwin Outpost Where Security Tasks Undertaken in Hpapun Township

It is reported that a large-scale group comprising members of Brigade (5) of KNLA and PDF terrorists launched a surprise attack with small arms and heavy weapons on the Dar Gwin oupost of Tatmadaw where security tasks are being undertaken in Hpapun township on 30 January. As Security forces from the outpost and surroundings fight back against them, terrorists ran away in disarray and no casualty of security forces was reported.

As KNLA Brigade (5) is breaching the NCA and continually conducting the actions to disrupt peace processes without obeying the orders of its high command, Tatmadaw will continue necessary counter-insurgency operations to protect border areas.
