On 30 January, PDF terrorists launched a sneaky attack on local militia groups in the Inma Htee village as the latter rejected the persuasion of PDFs to join their terrorist acts. Therefore, local militias fought back against PDF terrorists and the exchanging fire between them occurred.
Meanwhile, the security forces operating security duty near the village joined the local militias and fought against terrorists. As terrorists defeated in the clash ran away and launched arson attack on the houses of the village, some 200 houses were destroyed in fire and security forces members carried out necessary rescue tasks.
The Chief Minister of Sagaing region, the Commander of Northern Command and officials went to encourage the villagers in the Inma Htee village on 31 January, which was burned down by the terrorists. Following the meeting with the villagers at the school, they provided food stuffs including rice and cooking oil, articles for use, cash assistance and made necessary arrangements. Apart from necessary security tasks, security forces members will continue further rescue tasks and healthcare services to locals.
NUG, CRPH and PDF terrorists are frequently committing such kind of violence acts and creating the propaganda claiming unstable conditions occur in the country via social networks. Security forces are carrying out necessary security tasks to restore community peace and tranquility as well as law and order, joining hands together with local militias.
