PDF Terrorists Committed Bomb Attack on Social Support Group-owned Vehicle Transporting Pregnant Patient to Hospital

A social support group-owned vehicle left for Ye U Public Hospital to transport a pregnant woman, Ma Than Than Aye, wife of Ko Ye Aung, for delivery on 26 January.  The patient was accompanied on the way to hospital by Ko Ye Aung and the patient’s sister-in-law, 23-year-old Ma Aye Mar Tun living in Bomya ward of Taze township. The vehicle was launched a bomb attack by PDF terrorists near Satthay village, leaving ma Aye Mar Tun dead on the spot with shrapnel wounds in her back as well as in her right calf and the vehicle slightly damaged.

PDF terrorists are committing abduction of innocent people and brutal killings on people. In addition, they are shooting at and making bomb attacks on fire-engines, social support groups-owned vehicles for no reason, inflicting suffering on innocent civilians and volunteers and threatening their lives. Violent acts of terrorists were denounced by the civilians and the entire people want international communities to oppose such acts.

It is reported that security forces members are intensifying necessary security tasks to identify and arrest the terrorists committed the bomb attack on a social support group-owned vehicle, and to secure the area against terrorist’s attacks.
