NUG, CRPH and PDF terrorists are committing terrorist attacks on the airport and prison in Loikaw township of Kayah state and also against security forces, using people as human shields. Therefore, security forces are undertaking necessary tasks for security and stability in Kayah state.
On 24 January, security forces spotted a suspicious signboard of an association “AVSI-People for Development” in a building of the Bardo village in Loikaw and the association has not legally registered at the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement. During the inspection of the building, 120 hand luggages, 1,950 packs of instant noodle, 120 sachets of instant cereal, 760 cases of canned meat, 550 bottles of cooking oil, 100 blankets and consumer goods such as chick peas, detergent powder and soap bars were found and confiscated.
According to the analysis of the items, it was found that the items were stored to support PDF terrorists, and necessary legal actions will be taken under the existing laws.
With the aim of rising armed conflicts in Myanmar, external saboteurs from abroad are providing assistance to the internal armed terrorists in various ways under the name of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), on the pretext of humanitarian ground.
Security forces members continue necessary security tasks to ensure the peace and stability of Kayah State. In addition, security forces joining hands together with local community are taking necessary measures to identify the terrorists and prevent their acts.
