It is found out that NUG terrorist group organized PDF terrorist group and Lwin Ko Latt acted as an in-charge of Southern Command of PDF terrorist group to jeopardize State government’s administrative mechanism and cause public panic. Under Lwin Ko Latt’s directives, offender Maung (aka) Phyo Zeyar Thaw acted as an in-charge of STF and PDF terrorist groups while Wai Phyo Han (aka) Naung Yoe as an in-charge of Yangon Region Pa Ka Pha (PDF). Apart from these groups, terrorists have intensified their missions in Yangon Region, organizing four districts. In this regard, Lin Htet (aka) Mahuya acted as in-charge for Yangon Eastern District; Nay Lin Aung (aka) Phoe Kyaw for Yangon Western District; Htet Zaw for Yangon Southern District and Min Yan Naing for the yangon Northern District.
As security forces are accelerating their attempts to deter acts of violence of CRPH, NUG and PDF groups, a total of 48 perpetrators; 43 males and 5 females were arrested. Along with them, 28 assorted small guns, two homemade guns, 37 magazines, 3,771 assorted bullets, eight Energa grenades, five hand-grenades, two land mines, 38 homemade mines, one silencer, 78 various cartridges, four 3D printer used in FCG-9 gun production, parts of FCG-9 gun, detonating cords, detonators, and related explosive materials were captured.
According to confessions of arrested perpetrators:
- They completed the explosive training at KNLA Brigade 2/5/6/7 areas and committed assassinations on innocent civilians and bombings in Yangon region under Lwin Jo Latt’s directives.
- Under the instructions of Lwin Ko Latt, Wai Phyo Han (a) Naung Yoe, in-charge of the Yangon Region Pa Ka Pha terrorist group, issued arms and ammunition required for the acts of violence to the leaders of the District Pa Ka Pha groups. Min Thuta fleeing to the KNLA Brigade area sent arms and ammunition for FLA terrorist group to Yangon through Myawady.
- So-called Hlaing Thar Yar Pa Ka Pha terrorist group launched bombings in public areas of Hlaing Thar Yar teonship for six times.
- So-called township Pa Ka Pha terrorist group, subordinate of so-called Yangon Eastern District Pa Ka Pha terrorist group, launched attacks with homemade bombs for 10 times and assassinations on innocent people for two times.
- BRF terrorist group launched attacks with homemade IEDs in public areas for three times.
- FLA terrorist group launched violent bombings in public for three times and assassinations on innocent people for once.
- The perpetrator Hein Thet Paing Kyaw, together with arrested perpetrators and other suspects (still at large), committed bomb attacks with homemade IEDs in Yangon for five times.
- Hlaing PDF terrorist group committed killings and assassinations on innocent civilians for seven times.
- According to the statements of arrested suspects, Wai Phyo Han (a) Naung Yoe, with the fund from the local/foreign extremist NLD party supports, has been funding the in-charges of the four districts in Yangon Region for safe houses to hide after committing acts of violence and provided more money depending on the ability of committing terrorist acts.
- According to the statement of suspect Nyein Myat Thu, Moe Thu Thu Aung (a) May Thet Khine, leader of the MURM terrorist group, who has been hiding in the KNLA Brigade (6), sent four 3D printers, and Kaung Myat tested and started to manufacture FGC-9 guns in the safe house of the ward (77) in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township.
- According to the confession of arrested suspects, Naing Lin Aung connected with other suspects hiding in the KNLA Brigade (7) area and carried and transported arms and ammunition to Yangon from Myawady.
- According to the statement of Nyein Nyein Aye (aka) Mable, she received the killing news of an innocent civilian living in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township from YRG terrorist group under the link of Naing Lin Aung. She, then, sent the news to Mizzima News Agency. She had to report news in relation to terrorist groups to Editor-in-Chief Soe Myint daily, and she managed Naing Lin Aung to link with other suspects (still at large); Paing Ye Thu and Okka for arms trading.
It is found out that the above-mentioned terrorist groups committed bomb attacks in public areas for 29 times and killings and assassinations on innocent civilians for 10 times, with the intention to jeopardize the State government’s administrative mechanism and cause public panic.
Security force will continue to take effective legal actions against the arrested perpetrators under the law. It is reported that the entire people are urged to combat and deter against terrorists in a cooperative manner and secretly report the information about the hideouts and movements of terrorists to the legal body concerned.
