The State Administration Council has implemented the “Pankhin” Project since 3 May 2021. Under the project, measures are being taken to grant citizenship identification cards for over 3.8 million people.
The progresses of granting household lists and relevant citizenship scrutiny cards under “Pankhin” project in respective regions/states from 3 May 2021 to 14 January 2022 are as follows:

In line with the guidance of the chairman of the State Administration Council, for ensuring the successful implementation of the “Pankhin” project, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population is reportedly cooperating with relevant administrative bodies of respective regions/ states to continue the works of granting household lists and identity cards to people.
- A total of 298,568 cards of household lists and 1,695,227 citizenship scrutiny card holders were granted under “Pankhin” project in respective regions and states from 3 May 2021 to 14 January 2022.
