Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Meets Officers, Other Ranks and Families of Bokpyin Station in Coastal Region Command

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence   Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by senior military officers and officials, met officers, other ranks and their families at the Bokpyin station of the Coastal    Region Command on 14 January. In speaking at the meeting, the Senior General said:

  • The Tatmadaw members are always to do exercises to be the members who have abilities in taking national defence duties.
  • Obedience to orders and abiding by the 60 military codes of conduct are good basic needs for becoming a good soldier. As military discipline means exhortation and prohibition, it is required to follow the prescribed rules and regulations.
  • Regarding the education sector development, Tatmadaw has taken necessary measures spending certain amount of money to promote the education quality of Tatmadaw family members. Therefore, every individual is urged to make efforts as they have the right to improve their lives, and knowledge. 
  • All individuals have to contribute to the development of the Tatmadaw and the State as much as possible by serving the duties with conscientious mind for the betterment of respective units.

The Senior General presented foodstuffs for servicemen and families to the acting station commander. After the meeting, the Senior General cordially conversed with officers, other ranks and families.
