Mid-Year Gems Emporium 2024 has continued at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 18-27 November:
- On 25 November, the eighth day of the Gems Emporium, 735 jade lots were sold to local gems traders through an open tender out of 750 jade lots in group (C) from lots no (2560) to (3309).
- On 26 November, the ninth day of the Gems Emporium, 694 jade lots were sold to local gems traders through an open tender out of 750 jade lots in group (C) from lot no (3310) to (4059).
During the emporium, 208 pearl lots, 62 gem lots and 1,823 jade lots in groups A, B, and C were sold to local and foreign gems traders. Additionally, 1,429 jade lots in group (C) that have been sold to only local gems traders and with Myanmar currency.
Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi observed the tender processes for pearl lots and gave necessary instructions to the officials, it is reported.
